By accessing or using Insight · Vision · Path (the “App”), operated by SIA “AE Lux” (“we”, “us”, or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Insight · Vision · Path is a web-based mindfulness application that provides a digital inspiration card deck and a personal journaling feature. Users may draw inspiration cards, read reflections, and write personal journal entries that are stored and synced to their account.
Card draws are deliberately limited to two per day. This is a design choice intended to keep each card meaningful, not a technical restriction, and the limit resets daily. Journal entries are unlimited and are shown on a calendar so you can find any day you have written.
You must be at least 16 years of age to use the App. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have obtained consent from a parent or legal guardian.
To access the App’s full features, you must register an account using your email address and a password, and confirm your email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to:
Your free week begins the moment you create your account — not when you enter payment details. For seven days from registration you have full access to everything: drawing cards and both reading and writing journal entries. No payment method is required to begin, and you are free to let the week simply end without ever subscribing.
A free week is granted once per email address. Deleting your account and registering again with the same address does not start a new free week; you continue with whatever remains of the original one. This is explained further in our Privacy Policy.
After the free week, continued access to the card deck and to writing new journal entries requires a paid subscription. Plans available:
Subscriptions are processed through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge the applicable fee on a recurring basis. Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
We reserve the right to change subscription prices with at least 30 days’ notice.
So that there is no ambiguity, this is exactly what you can do in each state:

You never lose access to your own writing. If your free week ends, or you cancel, or your payment fails, your journal remains readable to you indefinitely, and you may continue to delete your entries or request a copy of them under your right to data portability (see our Privacy Policy). What a subscription buys is the ability to draw new cards and to add new entries — not the right to read what you have already written. You may also delete any of your own entries at any time, subscribed or not.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings, which opens the Stripe customer portal. You will retain full access until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, after which your account moves to the read-only state described in section 6. No partial refunds are provided for unused time.
EU right of withdrawal. As a consumer in the EU you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. Because the App is digital content supplied immediately, by subscribing you expressly request that we begin supplying it at once and acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal once supply has begun, in accordance with Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU. This does not affect your statutory rights where the service is faulty or not as described.

You retain ownership of all journal entries and content you create (“User Content”). By using the App, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process your User Content solely to provide the service. You agree not to submit User Content that violates any law, infringes third-party rights, or is harmful or abusive.
All content, design, card text, and software in the App (excluding User Content) are the intellectual property of SIA “AE Lux” or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. The inspiration cards and journal prompts are for personal reflection only and do not constitute professional psychological, medical, or therapeutic advice.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SIA “AE Lux” shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under Latvian or EU law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia and applicable EU law. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Latvia. EU consumers may also contact the Consumer Rights Protection Centre (Patērētāju tiesību aizsardzības centrs) at www.ptac.gov.lv.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms.
You may delete your account yourself at any time: open your account page in the App and choose Delete account. This permanently removes your journal entries, your name and date of birth, and cancels any active subscription. It takes effect immediately and cannot be undone. If you want a copy of your journal first, write to us before deleting and we will provide one. You may also write to us at getivp@aelux.lv if you would prefer we do it for you.
