3. Cookies We Use

3.1 Strictly Necessary

These are essential for the App to function and cannot be switched off.

• Supabase authentication session — stores your login session token in your browser’s local storage so you remain signed in. This is required for the App to work. No personal data beyond your session token is stored in this way.

3.2 Functional

• App state — the App may store lightweight state information in your browser’s session storage to provide a consistent experience within a single visit.

3.3 Third-Party Cookies (Stripe)

When you access the payment or subscription flow, Stripe may set cookies on your device for fraud prevention, security, and payment processing. These are governed by Stripe’s own Cookie Policy at stripe.com/cookies-policy/legal.

4. What We Do NOT Use

• Advertising or marketing cookies.
• Cross-site tracking cookies.
• Social media tracking pixels.
• Analytics cookies (e.g. Google Analytics) at this time.

5. Legal Basis

Strictly necessary cookies do not require your consent as they are essential to the service. For any non-essential cookies (e.g. Stripe’s third-party cookies during checkout), we rely on your consent in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive.

6. How to Control Cookies

• Browser settings — most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies. Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in to the App.
• Stripe — if you do not wish to use Stripe’s services, you will not be able to subscribe to the App.

7. Data Retention

The Supabase authentication session token is retained in your browser until you sign out or clear your browser storage. Stripe’s cookies are governed by Stripe’s own retention policies.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” at the top of this document will reflect the most recent update.
